Well, I was always thinking to have one colorful Internet based Geotechnical Journal. Here, the colorful means the journal's editorial board includes geotechnical representatives from all the countries in the world, especially, from ISSMGE's national member societies. Because of the low cost of website maintenance, this idea is not an impossible idea. I am now working towards it. I had this idea in my mind several years ago, around 2000 and I requested ISSN to check whether GeoZine can be a unique name to have such journal. They approved ISSN number and it proves that the GeoZine is a unique name and it certainly represents our Geotechanical Profession.

Though the idea of the journal was to attract more international members, I am still unable to invite international members. I will attribute this to my own unstable job positions. In last 6 years, I moved to 4 different work places and it disturbed my search for most deserved editorial members. Now, I am in more stable job position, and I want dedicate my free time to enhance the quality of GeoZine towards achieving its preset goals, internationalizing its editorial board. Though the early issues had editorial board of my own closed circle of friends, but I would like invite fellow geotechnical engineers from all over the world and join the editorial board to enhance the quality of GeoZine, an Internet Journal of Geotechnical Engineering (IJGE).

Please join the GeoZine editorial board and become part of the fast growing truly an international journal.
